Sean grew up in Texas watching how local decisions shaped everyday life: schools that worked, roads that didn’t, and public offices that sometimes felt far away. That early view taught him that government can either make life simpler or more complicated—and that the difference often comes down to whether elected officials are really listening.
Military service as a Marine reinforced the value of clear expectations and shared responsibility. People perform best when they know what is expected, why it matters, and how their effort connects to the bigger picture. Sean carries that approach into public life.
Approach to representation
Sean’s style is methodical. He prefers reading the full bill, asking pointed questions, and then explaining the outcome in language people can check for themselves. It’s not about being the loudest voice on social media; it’s about being the most reliable person in the room.
He believes elected officials should publish regular summaries of their votes, explain tradeoffs, and admit when new information requires a course correction. To Sean, that is not weakness—it is how serious work gets done.
Why run for Texas House
State government touches almost every part of daily life in District 23: school funding, property taxes, coastal infrastructure, public safety, and access to healthcare. Sean is running because decisions at the Capitol should be grounded in the lived reality of the people who pay the bills.
For Sean, the work is straightforward: lower friction for families and small businesses, strengthen public schools, and protect the basic stability that allows people to plan their lives.
